Meet Madi
Madi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate who has a passion for working with underserved and underrepresented populations. She primarily work with adults and is also comfortable working with teens and young adults. Madi’s areas of focus include supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She also specialize in working with individuals and couples who are part of alternative lifestyles, such as kink and polyamory. Additionally, she works with survivors of sexual and domestic violence, as well as individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum.
As an LGBTQ+ therapist with both personal and professional experience working with underrepresented populations, Madi is deeply committed to providing a safe, supportive space that clients may not have felt outside of therapy. She aims to foster an environment where clients feel seen, heard, and respected for who they truly are. Additionally, she is here to support and uplift her clients in whatever way is needed, offering guidance, empathy, and practical tools throughout their journey in therapy.
When asked about the general vibe within her approach she states the following:
“My general vibe/feel in my approach to work with clients is centered around fostering a warm, trusting, and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable discussing personal challenges, even those that might not typically be addressed in therapy. I value collaboration and work to tailor my approach to each client’s unique experiences. My philosophy is that my role as a therapist is to equip and educate clients with the tools they need to continue their mental health journey outside the therapy room. I enjoy guiding my clients through self-discovery with thoughtful questions and prompts. I don't believe in 'hand-holding'; rather, my focus is on empowering them by teaching practical skills they can use independently as they navigate their own mental health journey”.
Madi’s approach to therapy is rooted in providing client-centered care, where she prioritizes creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. Madi also takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach, working together with clients to identify their goals, develop effective strategies, and track progress. By focusing on clients' existing strengths and resilience, she helps them address challenges and move toward lasting positive change.
Clients can expect to come to sessions ready to explore and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their mental health needs. Throughout our work together, they will feel validated, heard, and supported, leaving each session with a greater sense of clarity. In addition to emotional support, clients will walk away equipped with practical tools and strategies to better manage challenges, improve their coping skills, and build resilience. Madi strives to empower her clients to integrate what they’ve learned into their everyday lives, fostering lasting growth, self-awareness, and positive change.
