Meet Catherine
Catherine is a licensed Clinical Social Work Associate who is passionate about supporting individuals and couples in their personal growth and mental well-being. She specializes in helping high school students, adults and couples navigate anxiety, depression, and the complexities of relationships, with a particular focus on improving coping skills, building self-esteem, and boosting confidence.
Catherine graduated from Elon University with her Bachelors in Human Service Studies and then received her Masters in Social work from Simmons after interning at Peak for a year. She utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Empowerment techniques to help her clients gain new perspectives, develop healthier coping strategies, and feel more confident in their ability to manage life's stressors.
Catherine understands that every person’s journey is unique, and believes in meeting you exactly where you are with a client-centered and collaborative approach, tailored to your specific needs and goals. Whether you’re facing challenges in your personal life or in your relationship. She believes that therapy is a process that can feel overwhelming, and hopes to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable, understood and supported. Catherine believes that therapy is a collaborative process where her role is to walk along side your and navigate life's challenges!
“My goal is to empower you with the tools and insights necessary to create a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and true to who you are.”
